We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager – Data Mapping to oversee the enrichment of food and beverage product data across our proprietary platform. This role requires deep industry expertise, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality data standards.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products, including meats, dairy, produce, grocery items, prepared foods, beverages, and operational supplies.
• Experience in the foodservice industry (restaurant procurement, food distribution, or supply chain experience preferred).
• Familiarity with North American foodservice brands and the products broad-line distributors sell.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train remote teams.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in internet research for verifying product details.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working with Google Drive, spreadsheets, and data management tools.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, with a reliable internet connection and dual-monitor setup.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the data mapping team to ensure accurate product classification and enrichment.
• Monitor quality control and accuracy benchmarks, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Train and mentor team members on food and beverage categorization best practices.
• Conduct product reviews and audits to maintain consistency and correctness.
• Research and verify product information, particularly for North American foodservice brands.
• Optimize workflows to improve team efficiency and data accuracy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, troubleshooting data classification challenges.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data processes and system functionality.
